Human Interests in Priority

A national program on the implementation of Strategy of Actions on Five Priority Areas of the Development of Republic of Uzbekistan for 2017-2021 in the Year of Dialogue with the People and Human Interests has been approved. 37.7 trillion soums (currency rates of CB RU from 22.02.2017, 1$= 3356.87 soums) and 8.3 billion US dollars will be allocated to its implementation.

Protection of human rights and freedoms, peaceful and prosperous life is necessary ensure the human interests

On 9 February a meeting through videoconferencing was held under the chairmanship of President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev, devoted to the activity of the internal affairs bodies, existing pr8oblems and shortcomings as well as tasks for the future.
It was attended by the leadership of the Ministry of internal affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan, corresponding ministries and agencies, chairman of the Jokargy Kenes of the Republic of Karakalpakstan, khokims of regions, Tashkent city, towns and districts.

President of Uzbekistan signs Law "On counteraction to corruption"

On January 3, the President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoev signed the law “On counteraction to corruption”.
The document was adopted by the Legislative Chamber on November 24 and was approved by Senate on December 13, 2016.
The Legal act was introduced to the Legislative Chamber of the Oliy Majlis by the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

TELEPHONE CONVERSATION WITH THE PRESIDENT OF TURKMENISTAN

On February 14, 2017, there was taken place a telephone conversation of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev with the President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov.

The head of our state congratulated Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov on his convincing victory in the general elections of the President of Turkmenistan and wished him great success in the highest state office.

NEW PROJECTS TOWARDS RAISING PROSPERITY OF POPULATION

President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev has inspected projects for the construction of affordable modern apartment houses, a marketplace, a trade complex and a modern park in Termiz. 

Under the leadership of the country’s First President, a great deal of work was carried out in Termiz on the construction of many modern buildings and apartment houses.

Today President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev has arrived in Surkhandarya region to review the progress of social-economic reforms in the region and creative and improvements works as well as to uphold a dialogue with people.

President of our country Shavkat Mirziyoyev examined the project of construction of “Tashkent metallurgical plant” foreign enterprise in metropolitan Sergeli district. 

A British company "Quality Trade Supplies L.P." is a founder this enterprise with the project cost of 278,2 million euros. 

ISLAM KARIMOV’S BIRTHDAY CELEBRATED ALL OVER THE COUNTRY

President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev visited Samarkand on 30 January on the occasion of the birthday of First President of our country Islam Karimov. 

The Head of our state paid a tribute of respect to the memory of Islam Karimov at his burial place. The Quran verses were recited. 

BEST PRACTICES IN ALL REGIONS

A resident of Bunyod mahalla of Samarkand city Hurshida Burkhonova experienced at first hand how the ideas of ​​the Year of Dialogue with People and Human Interests are being put into practice.

A few days ago members of the working group fr om among representatives of public organizations came to her home, talked to her, learned about the unsolved problems. Hurshida said that for a long time she cannot place two grandchildren in preschool educational institution, and this adversely affects the employment of members of her family.
